Terms and conditions for using SonicVoIP services.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SonicVoIP services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

SonicVoIP provides hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services for businesses, including but not limited to phone service, business texting, voicemail, and related features. Services are provided as described in your service agreement.

3. Service Requirements

You are responsible for:

  • Providing a suitable internet connection for VoIP service
  • Maintaining necessary equipment (routers, phones, etc.)
  • Ensuring accurate account and contact information
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Make illegal or fraudulent calls or send illegal messages
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with the operation of our services
  • Resell services without authorization

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as specified in your service agreement. Services may be suspended for non-payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

6. Number Porting

We will make reasonable efforts to port your existing phone numbers to our service. Porting timelines depend on your current provider and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for maintaining service with your current provider until porting is complete.

7. Emergency Services (911)

VoIP 911 service has limitations compared to traditional phone service. You must provide accurate location information for 911 purposes. 911 service may not function during power outages, internet outages, or service interruptions.

8. Service Level

While we strive for high availability, VoIP service depends on internet connectivity and factors outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Internet redundancy options are available to improve reliability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonicVoIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SonicVoIP or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate service as specified in the service agreement. We may suspend or terminate service immediately for violation of these terms or acceptable use policies.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
